Arco Linux introduction

This is an education project. And it is a Linux distribution. The project motto is “Learn, enjoy, and have fun.” They have more than 3,000 recordings on their YouTube channel.

There is more than one distribution from which you can choose to fit your needs:

  • ArcoLinux: The standard installation of ArcoLinux has an interface that is similar to other Linux installers. It comes with three different desktop environments (Xfce, OpenBox, and i3) and a lot of common and well-known applications.
  • ArcoLinuxD is an ArcoLinux installation that doesn’t come with any desktops or software by default. Instead, you must use Calamares or scripts to choose and instal everything. Notice that the D in ArcoLinuxD stands for “decide.”
  • ArcoLinuxB is a simple version of ArcoLinux that you have to put together yourself. Build is what the B in the name stands for.
