Today I want to present Archman GNU Linux introduction, another Arch based OS. In this article, you will find a basic introduction to Archman Linux, GNU explanation and useful links.
Archman Linux system introduction
It is one of a new generation of Arch Linux systems that are designed to make getting started easier. Archman has a very nice default setup, and it was well thought out (based on some reviews). This Linux operating system is:
- fast,
- beautiful,
- stable,
- and easy to use.
Archman Linux uses a rolling release model, as Arch Linux. It means you can access and install updates anytime you wish. It comes from Turkey.
Archman desktop environment
You can choose different desktop environments here:
- XFCE desktop – low system requirements and always proposed.
- KDE Plasma – the newest and user-friendly desktop.
- Mate or Gnome.
How does Archman Linux look?
I have installed Archman Linux with KDE Plasma desktop and based on that you can see:
- What the operating system looks like.
- What features it has (for example: software center, basic system settings).
- How selected programs look like (for example: LibreOffice Writer and Calc).
- How Google Workspace looks like (for example Google Meet).
- How Microsoft 365 looks like (for example Microsoft Teams).
